LET THERE BE SWING

This show was possibly the easiest show we’ve ever staged because there were no costume or scenery changes. It was also one our best. I don’t think our singing has ever been so good and when we sung ‘Moon River’, ‘Catch a Falling Star’ and ‘Summertime’ we raised our game to a new level – hopefully we can stay there too.

The show was set in a Las Vegas nightclub and featured the supercool music of the 1950’s (Ratpack, Andy Williams, Peggy Lee etc). We also furnished it with a host of fascinating characters such as the hitman, Franky Fingers; burnt out cop, Jack Nelson; husband killer, Bonny Blue and mob boss – Joey Luciano.

The show played at Saltburn Theatre but went down so well that we repeated it at Middlesbrough Theatre.
