What A Picture! What A Show!

If there were Oscars available for stellar performances at Saltburn Community Centre they would have certainly been picked up by our cast - everyone gave it their all! Our movie masterclass was smoothly directed by Usherette Jan (who was a picture herself).

Opening with the full cast singing Zipadeedoodah the show zipped along with superbly choreographed routines to solo performances to well known hit numbers from classic films like Titanic, Lion King and Batman Returns.

At strategic moments, the silver screen decended and we projected movie trailers made in the weeks prior to the show (even getting a sneaky plug in for our next show, South pacific), and they went down a storm.

As always the Show was thoroughly enjoyed by the audience (who incidentally sat eating popcorn throughout, just to get the atmosphere right.)

Congratulations to the backstage crew who worked tirelessly throughout, and of course a standing ovation for our cast. And that's a wrap!
